    Generate Citations

    Every project, component, file, and user has a unique, persistent URL on the OSF. This means that anything you upload and make public on the OSF can be cited, giving you credit for your work. Pre-formatted citations are displayed on every Project and Component Overview page.

    Create DOIs

    In addition to its own unique, persistent URLs, the OSF also offers DOIs and ARKs for your research. At this time, DOIs and ARKs can only be issued to public registrations.

    Configure Notifications

    You can configure your OSF project or component to send you an email when new comments are added or when files are updated. You can choose to receive an email every time one of these actions happens or in the form of a daily digest.

    These settings apply only to you. Modifying them does not affect any other contributor on the project.
