Affiliate an OSF Registration with an Institution

Registrations automatically inherit institutional affiliations from their corresponding project. However, if the project is not affiliated with an institution, or you want to modify the inherited affiliation, you can update/add institutional affiliations to your registration via the registration's "Settings" page.

Only administrators on the registration can add institutional affiliations.

Open your registration, then click the Pencil icon next to Affiliated Institutions on the right panel.

The Affiliate institutions modal will appear.

Check the box to add an institution. Uncheck the box to remove an institution.

Your registration will be affiliated with the institution (the affiliation can be removed at any time).

If your registration is public, it will appear on the institutional landing page.
