Deactivate Your Account

If you want to close your OSF account, log in to your account and request an account deactivation. OSF Support will reach out to you to confirm your request and deactivate your account.

Log in to OSF.

Select your name in the top right, then click Settings from the drop-down menu.

You'll be taken to your "User Settings" page.

Click Account settings in the left sidebar.

Scroll to the bottom of the "Account settings" page.

Click the Request deactivation button.

A confirmation modal will appear.

Click the Request button.

OSF Support will receive your request and will reach out to confirm your account deactivation.

If you want to cancel your request, you can click the Undo deactivation request button.
