My projects page

If you are unsure of the nature of your content on the OSF, i.e. if it’s PUBLIC or PRIVATE. There is an easy way to view this on your “My Dashboard” Projects page.

  1. Use the drop down menu on the far right to select Public and Private to display all of your OSF Content, or Private to just display Private Projects & Components, or Public to just display Private Projects & Components

Any projects that are private have a closed lock (top), while public projects have an open lock (bottom).

Download from "My Projects" dashboard

Go to https://osf.io/my-projects?tab=1&page=1. Once you are on this page you can quickly filter your projects by: Public and Private, Public, or Private.

You can then select the Download icon and select what you would like to download: metadata, and any content in a storage provider associated with the project.

If you have any issues downloading see Troubleshooting Download Issues OR email support@osf.io for assistance.
