Create an OSF Account
The OSF is free to use and creating a new account is simple. If you have an ORCiD account or are affiliated with one of our Partner Institutions, you can also create your OSF account using these credentials. See our help guide for more information on Signing In Through Your Institution, or read below to sign-in with ORCid.
Go to OSF, then click the Sign Up button in the top right of the OSF homepage.
To create your account using your ORCiD or institutional credentials, click on the ORCID button and follow the instructions.
Alternately, enter your name, email address, and a password into the respective fields to sign up for a new account.
Read the Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy, then check the box next to "I have read and agree."
Check the box next to "I'm not a robot," then click the Sign up button.
will receive a confirmation email from the OSF at the email address you used to create your account.
Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.
Your OSF account will be created.
